In accordance with Section 2.2 of the Bylaws of Fairlington Towne, A Condominium Unit Owners Association (“Association”), notice is hereby provided of the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Association. The Association Board of Directors (“Board”) has determined that the Annual Meeting will be held in person this year.  The meeting will be held as follows: 

 

 

The primary purpose of the meeting is to elect three members to serve on the Board.  A meeting agenda is enclosed. Candidates elected to the Board will each serve a term of two years in accordance with Section 3.4 of the Bylaws.   Candidate statements for five members who submitted complete Nomination Forms and qualify for Board membership are enclosed, and can also be viewed on the Resident Portal, https://fairlingtontowne.connectresident.com.  

A proxy form and accompanying instructions are enclosed for unit owners who are unable to attend the Annual Meeting in person. All forms must be dated and signed by all owners of a unit. Additionally, all forms must be filed with the Management Office by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. The proxy form contains detailed instructions on how to complete it so that it is valid.

Unit owners representing ten percent (10%) or more of the units must be present in person or by proxy in order to achieve quorum. Quorum must be achieved in order to hold the meeting.

Voting begins Tuesday, October 6 and will continue until prior to the Annual Meeting on October 29, 2026.  The intent is to announce the election results during the meeting.  If more time is needed and the results cannot be announced, the Annual Meeting will be recessed to reconvene at a date and time agreed to by those present at the Annual Meeting to announce the results.
