Trees in Limited Common Areas & Homeowner Responsibilities

The Association has recently encountered several concerning situations involving trees that highlight the importance of proactive maintenance, and we want to make all homeowners and residents aware.  Photos are included below for reference. We also wanted to take this time to remind the community that, in accordance with the Association’s bylaws, the maintenance and trimming of trees, shrubs, and other landscaping located within rear yards and patio areas are the responsibility of the homeowner.

At the Board meeting on May 28, the Board adopted Policy Resolution No. 26-04 Policy Resolution No.26-04 Policies and Procedures Relating to Enforcement of the Condominium Act, Condominium. 
Fairlington Towne Opposition to the King Street–Bradlee Safety & Mobility Enhancement Project

I am writing on behalf of the Board of Directors and residents of Fairlington Towne to reiterate and strengthen our community’s position regarding the proposed King Street–Bradlee Safety & Mobility Enhancement Project.
Front Stoop Replacements Begin June 8

During the April 30, 2026, Board Meeting, LCS was selected to replace 45 stoops in our community. Most of these stoops are in front of units, but a few rear stoops were also identified for replacement. Given this upcoming project, we wanted to share some important details with homeowners and residents regarding the details of this project.
