The Landscaping Committee for Fairlington Towne Condominium will hold a meeting at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, September 19. This meeting will be held virtually through Zoom. If you would like to attend the meeting, please click on the link provided through email or the Resident Portal.

Below is a current construction update on phase II of the Minnie Howard project.

The affairs of Fairlington Towne, A Condominium Unit Owners Association (“Association”) are governed by a Board of Directors (“Board”) consisting of five members, each of whom are elected to serve two-year terms. Pursuant to Section 3.4 of the Association Bylaws, “three members of the Board of Directors shall be elected in even-numbered years, and two members of the Board of Directors shall be elected in odd-numbered years.” Accordingly, at the upcoming annual meeting on October 24, 2024, three directors will be elected to serve on the Board for terms of two years. 

Shenandoah will begin pruning in the community on Monday, September 9 and anticipates finishing by the end of next week. This will be the third round of pruning for the community this year.

The Association has been informed that the demolition of the old Minnie Howard school is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 9.
